"No War for Oil" is a much overused shibboleth of the left. It, of course, utilizes the fallacy of circular reasoning by assuming that which it is asserting. That is,

1. This war is all about oil.
2. Killing people over oil is bad.
3. Therefore, "No War for Oil."

Once #1 is assumed, however incorrectly, the rest follows. But, it is assumed without proof. I could say, "No War for Grapefruits," and it would make as much sense.
