O'Reilly has been a journalist for decades. He knows the impression he gives when he uses the term "working class." He knows that most people understand the long-time meaning of "working class." O'Reilly is deliberately downgrading his past to make himself seem a more suitable spokesmen for "the little guy". In reality O'Reilly is "spinning" like a top. Hosts like Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Tony Snow and Brit Hume dominate Fox and give its "news" a clear right-wing bias. The ideological slant is no problem - only that they lack the candor and courage to own up to it.
Here are his rants: They did an interview with one of O'Reillys first editors at some news station he worked at early in his career. He said he had a serious problem with o'reilly in regards to the articles he wrote.
The problem was that o'reilly used to write his articles based on what he thought were the facts. The editor said he had to make o'reilly re-write a lot of them because the facts he claimed to have were wrong. He told o'reilly he had to prove he could back up what he wrote or they would get sued and lose the lawsuit.
It turns out O'Reilly had a problem with reporting the actual facts. His articles were full of his opinions and spin that were reported as real facts. Yet he told this editor he had the facts in all his articles, but when his facts were checked out it turns out a lot of his so-called facts were not really the facts.
Bill would write a story, then his editor would ask him if he had the facts, Bill would always say yes. In reality they were his opinions, not the actual facts. Then his editor would make him prove his facts to him or that part of the article would have to be removed or re-written with the real facts.
BINGO..............
This is exactly how he does his show today, he reports the facts (As he sees them) but when you check out those facts they usually turn out to be spin or his slant on the facts.
Rarely do you get ALL the facts or the actual independent, non-partison facts. Normally you get his opinion of the facts or his spin or the partial facts or facts from biased right-wing sources.
In the world of Bill O'Reilly the facts are not always the facts. They are most often his spin on the facts, if not flat out distortions of the facts. So you see o'reilly started spinning his opinions and calling them facts at a very early point in his career. You know what they say, old habits are hard to break and you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
P.S. Those are the facts, lol.
He wants Freepers to come there....so why not we say hello to this imbecille?
