Did anyone happen to catch the "Trading Spaces live reveal" from Las Vegas tonight?

Mrs. Fierro & I watched a later re-airing of the show, but the actual reveal portion appeared to be botched. All they showed were miscued video clips and staff members acting as if they were the homeowners.

We tried checking it out on the TLC website, but without success.

Were the homeowners' reactions so negative/profane that the show just couldn't air them?

TLC Statement


TLC experienced a technical failure during the midnight (late night) repeat airing of the Trading Spaces live reveal on Saturday, Jan. 18. The problem occurred out of TLC's originating facility and interrupted the final segment of the program during the East Coast feed. We sincerely apologize to all of our viewers who were inconvenienced by this interruption. TLC will reair the program in its entirety at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003 (tentative). We hope you will check the Web site to confirm the date and time later this week.

Did you happen to see what was aired? Looked like a bunch of blanched, living-behind-the-camera maggots mocking the homeowners.

Is the show on tonight new? This afternoon I caught the wine label kitchen walls and was sick to my stomach. I went to look it up at TLC and was not listed.

It seems to me that the show is losing its appeal and getting very crazy with some of the designs.

Yeah, that was pretty hideous. But then, that's Hildy for ya. I can't stand that poof Doug, either.

I think Vern does the nicest stuff of the show.

Saw a commercial tonight where they claimed to be airing an "encore presentation" of the show tomorrow night at 10 pm EST. Maybe they'll even get it right this time.
