Sorry to overwhelm you. Independent of this JBS BS (I see your jive and raise you five), you owe it to yourself to check out the NSA site anyway. It's a fascinating look into cold war activity and not so glamorous espionage. BTW, the technique you mention is not a logical fallacy, but a persuasion or propaganda technique known as an appeal to authority. I think on this topic I'll have to defer to your authority (the lady doth protest too much me thinks).
