1. Of or pertaining to prostitutes; having to do with prostitutes.
2. Alluring by false show; gaudily and deceitfully ornamental; tawdry; as, meretricious dress or ornaments.
Etymology: Meretricious comes from Latin meretriciusM, from meretrix, meretric-, prostitute, from merere, to earn, to deserve. It is related to merit, to earn, to deserve.

hey ceej, what does the newsletter say about Ray liotta?
i have always liked him, even from when i was in HS and he was on a soap opera that i used to watch. his name on the show was Joey Perrini. he is cute.
