Your Christmas tree is still up? Does it have any needles left?

It has ALL of them! We got a fake tree about 8 yrs. ago, when I was still chairing the annual Christmas Fair at the kids' school. We needed some extra trees for decorations, and I found some 7' trees on sale for $10 each! I bought 2 for the Fair and one for me. When we had the fair, I would bring mine up there for them to use, then bring it back home and put it up. They were actually very nice looking!

We put so many ornaments and lights on ours that you can't tell if it is real or not! I used to get so sick each year about that time, that I began to wonder if I were allergic to the balsam and firs used for the fresh wreaths that we custom decorated at the fair. That's one of the reasons I went ahead and got the fake tree, but it turns out I STILL got sick at that time every year. It was more a function of not getting enough rest during the few weeks leading up to it.

Our older sons really liked the fake tree because the needles on the real trees used to 'bite' them, they said! LOL! The kids have fun putting it together every year!
