I don't know if any of you have already discussed this, as the posts just moved way too fast for me today to keep up.
But I wanted to say that his cry not only gave me chills and goosebumps...but it durned near brought a tear to my eye.
I tried explaining it to my wife why it was such a moving phrase, and why it carries such weight...but I don't think she quite got it...lol
That simple phrase contained such futility...such hopelessness...such an impassioned sense of "doing what needs to be done, despite the outcome"...just...wow. I was overwhelmed.
I'm not one who's quick to emotion...but I'm thinking I'm going to need a Kleenex Pocket Pack for the theater come late December.
Or, maybe I'm just reading way too much into things....
I think I may need the whole durn Kleenex box!
Not at all, we ~love~ that!
You have made me think more about that line, and it is chilling. Thanks. We are all gonna be emotional come December, if I am any kind of predictor.
I m gonna have to bring along the extra large box!!
