[The Iguana]

I would just like to say for the record that if my experience on my second viewing today was any indicator of nationwide trends, this movie is going to have monster numbers for this weekend.

Friend and I hit the noon showing at the local megaplex. We saw it on the largest screen (500+ seats) and it was just about sold out.

We checked out the other two screens where it was showing - and they were in the same shape.

And the filmgoers were not retirees or kids out of school. Most looked to be "working age" - which means quite a lot of us took off work to see this thing.

That's what I was wondering...how were the audiences? Most of the time, I thought the audiences were unusually well behaved, the 5 times I went to see FOTR, and had an unusually large number of viewers that weren't high school kids. Even alot of middle aged folks like me.

All right Iguana, you've seen the second showing. Was Faramir's line about finding Boromir in the boat in there or did I just dream that part because I knew it was supposed to be? I'm awake again and ready for the update or correction, whichever.

Gotta go see this again. Don't know if I can wait till Friday.
