Snape is probably the most interesting character that we see much of. He's so complicated! The only good guy who really isn't a nice person. I think he has vast amounts of guilt, that's why he's so nasty, particularly to Harry and Neville. I think he feels guilty about the Longbottoms because he used to be a Death Eater and knows what they did to Neville's parents.
