Oh, yes! Two pairs of nice jeans, decent style, for $2 each! It's not even a thrift shop, more a store where they send the things that didn't sell at department stores. So it's all new clothes, maybe out of date, and sometimes the prices are incredible.

The shoes were $40, but it's the only kind of shoes I wear and I only buy one pair a year, so it works out.

$2 - that's a great bargain! And shoes are one thing I believe to be worth spending money on. ;) That and CDs and books...

Our thrift store is consignment...people bring in clothes they don't want and the store sells them and keeps something like 15%...or people can just donate stuff. But they don't take anything that isn't nice, and I've gotten brand new dresses that were VERY expensive and still have tags on them (maybe someone bought something and never got around to wearing it? I dunno!) for just a few dollars.

What kind of shoes did you get?
