Hair - I certainly hope to one day see that beach house in person. I'd love to see the "other" ocean, rather than the same one I've stared at for years. *grin* Come on over! Fair weather company always welcome!

Believe you me, I would love to just hop on a plane and head over.
One day, when my kids are grown, I'll do just that! :)

(HHD: Deep roots are not reached by the frost..)

Well, I am off to town:(, I hate going over the river, especially clear to Tulsa, but my weed wacker is finished being repaired and I have to pick it up.
I am also going to buy some more flowers to plant, I pulled all the petunias up I had in my flower garden, so I have a bare spot. They just looked awful. They were growing big, had lots of flowers, but the flowers, even as soon as they opened went real limp, and were mushy and sticky to the touch. This is my first experience with flower gardening. Anyway, when I pulled them up I noticed that the roots were the same as when I first planted them, they had seemed to have not grown at all. Anyone know what I did wrong? Is it my soil? It isn't the best, kinda hard. I am going to work on it this winter. But everything else I have planted seems to be doing great.
