Yes! That would be fun. One of my friends has invited me over this summer to her house for shooting lessons... her dad is one of those NRA safety teacher types and has offered to give us the basics, anyway.

I respect guns, but I've never been around them. I think perhaps I should learn...

I would go for that! I've thought about starting the learning process, now that MN has a concealed-carry law. Haven't fired a gun for about 12 years now.
