WOW. Someday you will have to awe them with HOTD special. I made my special bean soup today. It's a bit spicy. Has lots of kinds of beans and rice it it. Tomatoes, onions and peppers too.

Mind sharing the recipe? I have one that has green chiles and a dash of powdered ginger along with about 7 or 8 different beans. It's called Friendship Bean Soup, and you are supposed to 'present' it in a jar with the beans in different layers. It is pretty to see, but even BETTER to eat! You can even lower the fat content by making the ham broth the day before, chilling it, then skimming the fat off of it!
