Rose and I are watching "Manor House" on PBS... quite fascinating how difficult life was 100 years ago.

Is that like "1800 House" that was on PBS awhile back? I liked the concept of that one, but the family (the mom especially) drove me nuts!

I've heard "Frontier House" was pretty good, though.

Where does "Manor House" take place?

We saw "Frontier House" and enjoyed it a lot, although the families were somewhat annoying. We didn't see "1800 House", but I suspect "Manor House" is more like that one. Basically, they have these people living in a Scottish manor, circa 1905. It's amazing how primitive things were even at that relatively recent time. There is lots more information at the PBS website, http://www.pbs.org/manorhouse.
