They must have chocolate running out their ears in Ger. I have gotten an abundance of chocolate for every gift imaginable since they've been there. But, daughter thinks she's in chocolate heaven.

Sigh! You're makin' me miss it! I was in Germany for four years...and it's true, I've never had so much access to such gooood chocolate!

I think most of what I missed were things like you listed...some spices and sauces that I couldn't get there. Plus books...I never had enough books. But that's just me!

It sounds like you might have a better feel for this than me. I just send what's requested. For the books, she hasn't asked for any for herself (she always wants DVD's and videos though) but I've made great friends on the book websites sending kid's books for the last 3 years. Also, my S-I-L is always wanting the latest Clancy etc. So, Amazon, ebay, halfbay and others have their address in memory.
