I saw an interview with her family on PMSNBC way early this morning. Her daddy is convinced that she has been hiding and trying to elude capture since the ambush. I'm sure he doesn't even want to THINK that she was captured and of what might have happened to her at the hands of those animals.
I believe she was being held by the Iraqis; she was in a hospital, but those have long since been made headquarters for the Iraqi army!
Frankly I don't care about the details of what she's been through, I'm just thrilled that she's being treated well now, and will be coming home! I hate hearing about the graves they found. I hope it is not all the others who are missing!
I have not been able to get to sleep before 2 am for the last 2 weeks. I am just a war news junkie, and all the interesting news comes through live in the middle of the night here!
