I know it's unheard of for anyone here to have not seen The Movie, but I can't abide the volume at my local theaters :(

in my defense, mrs. libarian agrees with me.

Hearing protection? But then those foam plugs are awfully uncomfortable to wear for 3 hours.

I know what you mean. It seems it has gotten much louder in the last few years, and the trailers seem even louder than the movies. I've had to sit with my fingers in my ears during the trailers the times I've seen TTT. There were times during TTT that I had to plug my ears, too! I need to get a good pair of ear plugs and start taking them to the movies with me!
