It's my cousin Max. 22 years old and has been diagnosed with cancer. Hodgkins Lymphoma according to the biopsy results we received yesterday.

He'll be the hospital for 3 weeks. I have no idea what type or stage it's at, but it's pretty darned bad. He can barely swallow anymore because his throat is swollen due to the tumor.

I'll share more as I hear it, but it's bleak and depressing to see how quickly it grew. :(

Have faith (it's what you can do now) and believe that things will be better, and that everything will happen in accordance to His plan.

Sorry to hear of the cousin's illness. I always see the half full glass though, so consider how this news would have come to you while the niece was still missing. ugh, bad as it is it could have been worse.

Oh NO Ruthie! I just got out of morning class. Am so sorry to hear this. But, again, we are praying.

Not only is it like Corin said, - A place where we can say anything and it'll be okay. But, we're also a place we know where we can go pretty much anytime day or night to gather these prayers.

That's a good thing.
