Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hadn't heard of the baby powder tip...I'll have to keep that in mind! I just remember growing up when I had a black lab and my brother had a golden...Olav was about the most photogenic dog I've ever known...Jo-Jo was gorgeous in person, but in pictures, she just looked like a shiny black blob! I wasn't exactly the greatest photographer either, of course...

LIV IS LADY OF T'RINGS

Actress Liv Tyler has turned her back on a Hollywood wedding - to get married in Yorkshire instead.

The Lord of the Rings star is set to tie the knot in Headingley, Leeds.

Her rock star fiance Royston Langdon, who fronts Spacehog, is from the area.

His dad Chester told the Daily Star: "Liv really likes it here in Leeds. She's a lovely lass. It's going to be a great occasion."

He added: "I'm thrilled. We're really looking forward to the big day."

The paper said Liv, 25, who plays elf princess Arwen Evenstar in the movie, is so in love with Yorkshire she even paid £3 to join Headingley's working men's club.

It quoted Liv as saying: "I love Leeds and the area around it.

"I love the Roman ruins and the rolling hills. It is so beautiful.

"I've also become a big fan of Yorkshire pudding."

Clare called it the 'black void of cuteness'! Those boys are gonna have so much fun growing up with those doggies! It's good that Pippin will be settled in when Maddie gets there. He'll probably help calm her down and make her feel more at home right away

My mom is going to take the bassinet off the legs eventually and it'll just be a dog bed...when they get bigger.

Evening all! Had an interview today that went pretty well (although I was nervous, of course.) Now I have to wait until early next week to see if they want me back for a third and (hopefully) final interview. And in the meantime, I have finished up a couple of new wallpapers for ya'll. Someday, I will get my wallpaper page put up on my site. I know, don't laugh, it could happen. If you have a character you want me to take at whack at wallpapering, so to speak, let me know, and I'll see what I can do. I did find some gorgeous new high-res Arwen pics recently...
