Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Good morning everyone!
My netscape local temps are reading 37 degrees here, but lemme tell you, it feels colder when that wind howls on ya! *shiver*
Nevertheless, I heard cries of hunger from the Hobbit Hole, so I rallied myself up and into the kitchen. First off, buckets of hot steaming strong coffee! I've got hot chocolate, various types of tea and plenty of whiskey, Bailey's and Kahlua for those who want to add an extra kick to their morning beverage! LOL!!
Fried eggs, bacon and sausage links are ready. Grits are on the hot plate, along with a pot of sausage gravy. I've fried up a mess of T-bones as well for the extra ravenous Hole dwellers. Hash browns, buttered rolls and blueberry muffins are on the table in the covered basket (keepin' em' warm, doncha know *wink*). ENJOY!
2J - Yippee for Pippin! The good life awaits! And I am even happier for your mom, for this will clear her of her melancholy and make everyone's life a little sunnier! :)
Sam Cree and ksen (and Florida lurkers) - MUVICO has changed the movie times. The only afternoon showing of The Two Towers is now at 3:15PM. We will still be meeting at Cracker Barrel at noon, but this just means that we can take our time and not panic if there is a 20 minute wait to be seated. I can hardly wait!
