Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I kind of got a kick out of that because I ended up attending the show with a co-worker who only managed to get to see The Outlaw Josey Wales for the first time this week. We had talked about the scenes where Josey has to have that edge. Seems Clint/Josey and Gandalf have something in common.

Well my brother changed his mind and wanted to see it tonight instead, so I went and traded our tickets in. Only a couple more hours! Twice in one day - never did that last year!

Let's hope so! The wide shots of the fair heroes on the wall before the battle, Aragorn, Legolas, top-of-a-helmet, were just embarassing. Give him a box to stand on already.

I don't worry about Sean or Elijah speaking in public. They are pretty grounded folk. They don't say anything outlandish.

I liked PJ's Galadriel in FOTR, so won't mind seeing more of her.
