Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Okay, I just got the email... .my friend will be here about 8:30 tonight. What should I cook. I have to go to WalMart anyway to get the transparent duct tape so anything goes.

Now that part about God tripping your horse just needs taking care of. 2J can handle that for you! It would have been a shorter conversation had I just used 2J's method. I ended up trying to get her to see that if someone with all the powers of God thought I was on the wrong path, he has better methods of communication available to him than to trip my old horse as a message. She then thought that must be why she was sent there to tell me. Phoooey.
She's a passionate gal. She does everything to the max. I like to watch her live. But sometimes all that energy turned on me can get pretty irritating.

Hi everyone. What's this about cows eating cabbage? I've never heard that one.
To: Wneighbor
where is she coming from?
To: proud_2_B_texasgal
That is my response to people who says a loving god wouldn't send people to hell. "God doesn't send anyone to hell, we volunteer to go" "and you still got time to change that destination on that ticket you got!"
