Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

kewl... gimme a picture, an address, and beer money fer the road... I was sendin' ya after your buddy Ramius over there. You know, he just wasn't raised in the right part o' the country or somethin'. He doesn't exactly quite have the treatment of elf ladies down like you, Corin and Gimli do. Tryin' to figure out here if he's gonna catch on or not.

Well folks, I've got to get ready for bed here.
I have to take this pit bull (mix?) puppy my friend found to the vet tomorrow, so the pound will come get him. They're illegal here in Dade County and I can't keep him. Not that I would anyway because of the risk with small children around.
But he is the sweetest thing imaginable. Looks about 9 months old, red and white with a bright pink nose! So smart and cute and he was just aplayin' with Becky like she was the best thing he ever found. *sigh* It breaks my heart to know he'll be put down immediately after arriving at the pound, but I've tried everyone I know and nobody can take him. :
