The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

We're thinking of coming down on the train. I know there is an Amtrak station in Orlando, but I can't remember if there is one in Melbourne. Do you know? I checked a couple of weeks ago, and the cost for the three of us would only be about $350! I'd prefer the train that time of year because of the the vagaries of the weather. The kids like the train, too, so it will be an adventure for them.
We can always bring some books with us so they won't get too far behind in their schoolwork during that time. They'll be doing lots of reading this year with their curriculum, so there will be historical fiction, etc. that they can read on the trip.

You know, I wouldn't swear to it. But I'm pretty sure I've never posted on the NES thread. I get in trouble on the other threads over there. You know Corin, maybe if you elaborated on that little piece of trivia we'd reach implosion by this time tomorrow!

The train sounds like a fun way for ya'll to go. I love trains. I'm going to have to catch a flight out of Dallas and back. At some point I'm going to be needing to know all the specifics about who will be at the castle that can pick me up - or if I should plan on a cab - or hitchhike.

No Amtrak station in Melbourne. The closest one is in Kissimmee. I think that one is closer than the Orlando one. Then all you have to do is get on 192 and follow it into Melbourne.

Aren't you the one who's avoiding spoilers? Bad Bear!Heh, actually, I hear that a lot.
But, a trailer isn't a spoiler! It's meant to be seen, in order to build anticipation for the movie!
Now I need to find out which films the trailer will be attached to so I can see it at the theater...
To: ksen
ABSOLUTELY!!!!!! Do you really even need to ask that question? Ooohhhh, I know what you're Pastor needs to start preaching on..... ;^)
Hey ksen, are ya thinkin' that Corin's preacher needs to be preachin' on the reasons why Sara lied by ommision to the king and said Abram was her brother instead of admittin' that he was her husband?
