Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

It is a great service! I like it because we can get all sorts of movies. Some we end up liking, some we don't but we can see as many as we can handle.
We saw The Shipping News the other night. It was a really good movie, but then, I just like Kevin Spacey.
What was fun was Cate Blanchett's part. She played this really trampy gal with long black hair; SSQ didn't even recognize her at first! Have you ever seen her movie, The Gift? It was written by Billy Bob Thornton, and the story is supposed to be loosely based on his own mother.

Well, really...I did put it back into the economy...I would think someone buying a fridge would be an indicator that they had some cash...or was expecting some cash in the next few weeks (as it was in my case.)
Worked out great. I would have loved to have kept it, but it came just in time for an emergency!

I think the dog and Jr. have conspired to drive me crazy. The clip on the dog's cable run broke yesterday. Who knows how long he was loose?

Ruthy, did you ever find out when your official last day at work is?
There's a nice 4-bedroom house for sale 2 streets down from where we live. It has a fenced yard, a 1/4 acre lot and a swimming pool. We stopped and grabbed one of the flyers but it didn't have a price on it.

Good morning everyone!
Sorry I disappeared like that last night, but the kids started acting up and my eye was hurting so I had to shut down and go to bed.
I deposited my $800 child rebate check this morning and half is gone already...gone towards paying bills. But Praise The Lord for this blessing that I now was able to pay them with more breathing room!

My official last day is August 29th. I am available the 2nd of September. :)
What realty company is the house listed with? Or is it by owner?
I'm constantly checking the online job sites (Monster, etc) and do searches in Melbourne from time to time. At this point, I am just waiting for the Lord to open the right door. It doesn't look like I'll be able to relocate this year though, simply because the insurance hasn't finalized the claim re: mold in our kitchen yet and thus, we can't sell. Add to that, Becky starts school at the end of August and I'd hate to move her one semester into kindergarten.
