Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I've been doing some figurin' this morning... since LCS isn't here! I went and looked at the most recent week of posts for both the Neverending Story and the Hobbit Hole... over the same week (07/20 thru 07/26), the Story had 1,341 posts, while HH had 2,575 posts. If that rate continues, the Story should reach 65,535 posts (theoretical implosion) in ~2.83 weeks, while the HH should reach the same point in ~2.46 weeks.

Well... today I'm making the decision to get an apartment in Bvue again... same place I lived in before I moved here.
I need a forward base of operations up there. Traffic is just getting outta hand. Daily schedule is loony.

I like "Many Meetings" for a thread title... as for a graphic, does one exist of Merry and Pippin taking their ease at Isengard, perhaps as the rest of the Fellowship meets up with them at the guard house? Just a notion.

We were close! Pass Jupiter on Malabar Rd., left on Hurley, down to Scottish! In fact, if you heard about a big SWAT/ATF bust on Thursday, it was right accross the street. 5am .. SWAT team all decked out with masks and shields. We were up pottying the puppy and saw the whole thing .. LOL.

heh, really it was more innocent than I make it sound... we're both terrible procrastinators, and we lingered a little too long over a pleasant good-bye breakfast at a restaraunt.
Only missed the plane by a few minutes, but what the heck! Got to spend another day together, and that was good!

Yeah, the place with the loft, except the apt I would get is one of the smaller ones, without a loft. All I want is a place to crash during some weekdays.
The Big Bad Idea has already started. They're laying the caissons in place even now. Big Jams are happening as people stop to look at the Big Bad Idea. Not to mention the Big Jams from all the Big Concrete Block arrange more or less randomly in the existing highway.
