Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

When I save the pics here in my files, I usually crop them if needed then size them to roughly the typical 3 1/2 x 5 size. The ones that I had already posted are the average size. That should to fine shouldn't it? I'll double check the properties at York to see what size they are and adjust if needed.

Back to work today. Had a mega-productive weekend. I loooove productive weekends.

We have been asked by the Harford County Public School System to ensure that all school-age children (kindgergarten through 12th grade) are registered for the upcoming school year. The local schools are staffed based on enrollment. Children who attended school in Harford County are already registered for the upcoming school year. Students transferring between schools from outside Harford County should be registered immediately.

Once I stepped on a snake...it was a few minutes before I regained "my composure"... did that include a new set of skivvies?...
hey osage! The MDC Private Land Conservationist was here yesterday... he's a good guy... and the fact he's one of the honchos for MWTF, and I'm a member means he can do stuff fer me he cain't with others... the NWTF has an awesome Bombardier ATV with all the accessories that members can use... so he brought out the NWTF ATV (free of charge) and a supply of remedy from the MDC (free of charge) and the missus and I sprayed the place... I can get "Bucaneer", a version of "Roundup" fer $20 fer 5 gallons (of concentrate) instead of $18 per quart... great fer establishing foodplots...
He told me there's money in the "FLEP" fund fer timber and pasture improvement, so I'm gonna take advantage of that...
gotta get started on the guinea house... they're already tryin' to fly at two weeks...
glad to hear you got home safe. The whole family really enjoyed meetin yuh... we gotta do it again... soon...

Hey all... busy day yesterday... and tuhday... gotta get to town, pick up lumber and cement, set the cornerposts fer the guinea house, then get to Ft Wood tuh get thenewboy into the system... pro'ly stop and get a re-supply of kim chee at the oriental market there... finished off a jar last night with bulgogi... mmmmm... Korean b-b-cue...
I'll check back in tonight... mrsnad may be around today...
