Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I am worried about the ice cream! Well, she was gonna call someone else to go get some dry ice. I'm just po'd that she ordered that much knowing that we didn't have the right place to keep it. Our air conditioner was destroyed last year during one of the break-ins. (They pushed it thru the window and crashed it thru the sink). SHE opted not to replace it, saying that fans were enough.
She's a hard worker and she usually does a good job. But I think she's distracted by something else this summer.

Wow! That was as awesome review of the ??? Moot. Great photos! Did you get any of Mrs. Gnad with the atlatl?
I am impressed by Mr. Bowman's photo. I used to enjoy a little bow shooting at the range at kids camp many many years ago. I gave it up when I wasn't supervising the kids at camp because my dad made fun of me for only shooting a simple bow. I never had the strength for any of his compound bows. And seeing Osage... well, I know I never looked like that. But, that bow is enough to almost make one swoon.

.. hey... nobody outclasses a dwarf... besides... osage didn't do near as many Irish Car Bombs as you... Well, thanks for the kind words, but I'm not just fishin' for compliments. I am vey series when I see the strength of character in others and I say "dang, why couldn't I be more like that."
Just a recognition that, at 45, I have less time to be a better man than I've had to screw things up. It's good for me to remember that.
