Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

If you have a Mailboxes ect. or something like that nearby...a mailbox place, you know? They have customs forms. You just ask and they'll give them to you. Tell them you need the white, four part one...the green ones are for under 3lbs.

Thanks guys, I don't think the customs form itself was much beyond a pretty weak excuse, thanks for the help with it, and I am giving myself a major attitude adjustment!

Don't be hard on yourself...you're the best. You've done good by these guys.
Good night!

Oh...he is NOT going to run again, is he? The only thing Buchanan has left to run is his mouth.

Nite all. Just checkin' in. Movie's over and I actually stayed awake all the way thru.
It's storming here, so I'm signing off.
Here's a night lightning:

Whew, long night at work tonight. A bunch of tricky issues to deal with, and no local supervisor to help out. At least we eventually got everything done, and had a little downtime.

Good evening! - I was taking a bath and getting my mind right!
Turning off the news and turning on some music always helps with that.
To: Corin Stormhands
Thanks for the nightning light! Talk to you in the morning Corin!
To: HairOfTheDog
Yeah, I can't stand to watch the news much these days. I have a hard time even listening to Rush, I get so mad at what's going on in our country.
To: Corin Stormhands
Not everything we want, but a lot better than what we've got. Prayers going up for you!
To: ecurbh
I don't like how fickle 'they' are - People need to think about what they mean when they say "OK - I'm in... I am on ~this~ side." It means no matter what. Not just during the easy part.

And it's about Harry Potter. I finally decided to read all the books. I finished 'Goblet of Fire' last night and started "Phoenix". I realize why they are such popular books. They're not in an elegant style of prose by any means, but they are rollicking good stories!
To: SuziQ
I got the first two read, and am now taking a break to read Seabiscuit. I am looking forward to getting back to them. They are nice fun stories with interesting characters.

When we lived in Arlington (VA), we had black squirrels in our yardI had never seen Black Squirrels in my life until we went to the Bronx Zoo! They were everywhere! They seemed to be 'sleeker' and less bushy tailed than the Grey ones.
To: HairOfTheDog
I found out today that I have more time off available than I though I would, so it looks like I could take a whole week off for the James Taylor moot. I'll talk to you more about that tomorrow though. I need to get to bed.
Good night!
To: ecurbh
That's great news! - Good night!
