Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I'd hate for us all to get together and not have any actual WORDS to say to each other.LOL! I have thought about that too, but I can't see it. We're all going to be so excited to have other people to talk to about LOTR that it ought to be pretty fun. I can see it being pretty animated.
I mean, I got together with the line party here in Tulsa...people I'd never met, and had a wonderful time! We all really know each other!

Yeah, I am sure that's going to be a big problem, that we will be too shy. Though in RL I am pretty quiet.
Is LCS coming the 25th?

The second photo is what I kind of had in mind for a mantle. Of course, it's going to be 2J's mantle. I had intended to get my patterns up here to scan and email to you so you could post those for 2J. But, I forgot... too many things going on this morning getting ready to head south.
I like the last 2 photos also, but I don't like that light fabric lining. Again, this is 2J's, but I think with the deep dark velvet she would need an equally deep dark silky lining.
What do you think 2J?

We absolutely ought to have some kind of webpage or photo album (perhaps tied in with the yahoo group) of all the mini-moots and certainly Entmoot 2004!
Like anytime 2 FR HHDs get together, pictures should be taken and posted if possible. It's starting to get more frequent that it's happening... I have that pic of JameRetief and I...

Sounds like a place where you can have peace of mind.I miss that. Oh, how I miss that. I have a great new job. But, I miss the country and that place more than I can verbalize.
