Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I didn't have a problem with my neighbors when I lived in the country. (well, one time we did - a long time ago - but they moved.)
I don't know about potted poison ivy. It could be a business opportunity. Send your ex a nice plant. Boss' day? uh, surprise birthday presents for the witch in the office. Maybe I ought to look in to this.

Oh, wouldn't that be fun! Well, it'd be more out of duty than fun. I'm not sure there's much sport in the Pilsbury Dough Boy on a four-wheeler...
To: Lil'freeper
am looking into very tall evergreen hedges...)Get some Arborvitae!! They grow almost a foot a year! SSQ and I planted 5' tall trees 15 yrs. ago, and they are almost 20' tall now!
Plant them about 3 to 4' on center, and they fill in wonderfully!
To: SuziQ
Next time, bring the DOGS out to the house with you. If he comes on your property, sic em on him!! That will have to wait a couple days. They just got, erm, altered, and are still walking gingerly.

It could be a business opportunity. Send your ex a nice plant. Boss' day? uh, surprise birthday presents for the witch in the office. It could work. 'Cause they're startin' to catch on to the Ex-lax Brownies...
To: Corin Stormhands
Well, if it's not sport enough for you dwarves hows about you let me go take care of the bozo? Maybe he needs an elf archer encounter.

To: Lil'freeper
As we were leaving we saw him puttering in large, slow circles on some other sap's property.
Maybe this is the answer to the mystery of whose been making all those "alien" crop circles...
To: Corin Stormhands
Sheesh! I just realized the Missuz raided my wallet...big time...
I gotta start lockin' that thing up.

It could work. 'Cause they're startin' to catch on to the Ex-lax Brownies... wonder who told? I think I'm gonna get me up a business plan for the poison ivy business. Gotta think of a name. Not for a rock band, for a business.

I didn't say we would enjoy it. But c'mon along. Sounds like there's enough for all of us.
