Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

This a.m. to the blood center downtown for a donation, and a nice lunch somewhere. Got to get my assorted trade goods and plunder together to see how much will fit in one-third of the truck bed.

got an auction to go to this mornin.... mmmmmm... tools and implementsmmmm..... implement auction! Let us know if you buy anything! - I wish I had a harrow... would help to spread manure in the pasture.... I don't have a tractor, but I kinda figured my truck could pull it.

Like a log! I was exhausted after such a wild day yesterday.
Had a HORRIBLE nightmare though, which woke me up about a half hour ago. I dreamed that the boys walked to the mall and tried to play with a toy fire truck at the mall and the store owner ran them off and they walked home. It was like 9pm when they came walking in and I didn't even know they were gone! Then I cried and cried and every time I'd stop crying I'd think about them walking home in the dark and I'd cry some more. (It doesn't matter that it doesn't get dark at 9pm right now...)
Then it woke me up. Now I'm drinking some of that cappuccino, like the kind I sent to my friend in Iraq. I'm out of other coffee. This is instant, but it'll do.

I also ran a search to see what I could find out about G'nad's fair. I love fairs! I wanted to see if they were going to have animals on display...was gonna have him look at the chickens for me...tell me which one he thought looked the best.

I once went to an after work thing and had enough tequila to make me think that having a female co-worker call the Mrs. and tell her I was gonna be late was a good thing...That is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time.... Man, you are lucky you lived through it!

Ha! No.
Get this: I didn't find out until last week that I'm supposed to be in KS permanently as of July the 7th. I was under the impression that I had until September to get this move done (I wasn't even permanent until June, for crying out loud!) So...the boss says "commute to KS every week for 4 10-hour days and go to NC to take care of "house stuff" on a 3-day weekend. Right.
