Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

That was great!
Orlando was good, Johnny Depp was exceptional.
I gotta see it again.
I got 2 posters. One with Depp and whatsisname on the back, the other one with Bloom and whatsername on the back.
Bloom and Depp sides look good together.

Shuddering with you!
Did I tell you my dryer is tearing holes in my knits? (I'm pretty sure I told someone...)
Steve hung me a clothes line on the screened in porch! It has two ceiling fans out there, you know? And lights. Normally it's all "plasticed" in for the winter, but the plastic is off for the summer and the ceiling fans are drying my tee shirts!
As soon as I get the fridge paid off I'm gonna have to buy a new dryer...
sigh.

Yeah, the acrobatics were impressive. Swordplay too. Makes me want to go camp out on the beach this weekend and dress up like a pirate, drink a pint, build a fire and tell ghost stories. I must. lol

I think he was pretty funny. I intend to go again just to watch him closer. Most interesting with him was on the beach, when he toasted the rum to the Black Pearl. The photography in the whole was very well done.

I started laughing at his character as he came sailing in on the top of the sinking boat and almost didn't stop. I was so depressed most of the day that I figured I was kind of doing the emotional roller coaster thing. I was thinking that if I watched it again it may not be near that funny. But, I sure would like for it too.
Oh! And I liked his song and dance on the beach!!! And then when he spotted the ship and what did he say? Something about there being no living with her after this. Then, of course at the end when he sauntered up to the commodore and told him he was on his side!
So, all in all I was loving pirates the whole time.
