The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

So, is this totally vacation or is business involved as well?Well hopefully, I'll have my new camera by then, and can get enough photography done to write it off under my side business.
To: Corin Stormhands
"that as a Christian, certainly his faith would influence his writing."Yeah, I don't think that can be questioned.
There is similarity. Mortensen's Aragorn often seems to have a somewhat "martyred" attitude towards his heroism. IMO. Hadn't really thought about it before you mentioned this, though.

Girl, it looks like we have similar tastes in music! I never saw CSNY in concert, but SSQ did. He said it was hard to see the stage through the green, funky smelling haze. ;o)

Are you just TRYING to make me cry today!!? LOL! Yep!
Glad you like Southern Cross too..... I have pretty ecclectic taste in music.... I love a singer/songwriter who can write great lyrics.... From James Taylor to Jimmy Buffett to Simon and garfunkel to Jewel to Alanis Morrisette....

(No ice or water maker though...Not worth the cost...we just make our own.)Our water dispenser became incontinent one night. Fortunately we had gotten up at 5am to watch for meteorites and the Intnl. Space Station. I saw the ISS, but spent the next two hours vacuuming up 6 gallons of water from my basement floor!!
We disconnected the water dispenser (the tube had come loose, that's why it leaked.) We do love the ice maker though!

I'm tickled for you too!!! One of these days I will get around to getting a new fridge too.

That is what I want! An ice maker! No more ice trays would be a nice upwardly mobile development for me.

Alanis Morrisette....Alanis gets a little too depressing for me sometimes, though I DO like "Isn't It Ironic".
