Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hmmm welll... I may get to see the movie tomorrow afternoon while Entwife plays 42 with her sister and friends. She gets motion sickness with fast action and battles on the big screen.

Sounds yummy, OT! Is there anything left? I was gone all morning, so I appreciate your stepping in for Ruthy! Muffins sound good, as well as some coffee. I'll have to stick with DeCaf this afternoon, though. I have to take a nap later this afternoon because I have to drive down to Providence to pick up our #2 son who's coming home for college break on an 'almost midnight' flight!!

Well, I can see how motion sickness could definitely come into play in the non-ent scenes of TT. However, 42 sounds fun too. That's what I need to find! Some people around here that play 42.

I have about concluded that even though the last part of my mailing address still ends in TX.... I'm too close to the rest of the world. They don't even call it Texas on the news up here. They call it TEXoma. yuk. Wonder why I am having trouble fitting in? And when I mentioned 42 to my students one day I got blank stares. This is not good.

However, they did show TT at midnight in the theater here last night. My co-instructor who teaches animation wanted to see it also so I didn't have to go alone. It was fun. But, now - I've been up since 6 yesterday morning and I'm going home to eat and sleep.

This has been real fun this morning. I hope to join you all again real soon.

I saw a midnight showing of TTT last night. Awesome! Amazing! Wonderful CGI Gollum easily steals several scenes! Massive battle scenes! Dwarf jokes! Gonna see it again tonight.
