The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I'm literally sitting here cracking up with tears running down my face. I'm in an odd mood!

Whistler impersonator! :)
To: 2Jedismom
That must be some sugar buzz you're on! How about some chamomille?

Ruthy, I was listening to that intro that Sean Astin does on lotr.net. It sounds just like a guy I used to work with. Someday, I'm going to get him to call you on the phone! Just be sure to warn him that if he hears a *thump*, it's me hitting the floor! LOL!
Hi everyone! Catching up now!
To: 2Jedismom
Yes, I-44 goes right through Tulsa. It's a turnpike from OKC. And also from OKC to the state line... about 25 miles north of me. It's free in Texas though.

Between our tinfoil hats and our drool buckets and our cloaks, we oughta be quite a sight!BWAAAHAHAHAAA! Oh boy! We're going to have so much fun!

tears running down my faceTears? Sad tears? Funny tears? Crazy tears? Do you need your medicine?
To: RosieCotton
Watch it, you! He's MINE! ;-) Er...um...Sorry, Rosie. Sometimes I forget he's spoken for.
Just wishful thinking. ;)

Guess that means you're just stuck with Merry, Pippin AND Frodo Ruthy dear. You only have 3 playmates now.

Was SNL the one that had the skit about Julia Childs where she cuts her hand with a knife and blood starts spurting EVERYWHERESNL... Dan Ackroyd as Julia Child, "The French Chef"... "Oh, now I've done it - I've cut the dickens out of my thumb!"

(Dan Ackroyd was the one with the drool bucket, too)

Funny tears. The thought of hanging Jean-Luc Picard for faking playing the pennywhistle just nearly did me in.
I feel very jovial. I got all my cookies mailed and went out to eat that great cheap burrito from a burger stand and then took the boys to the park and let them play (they had cheese burgers). Perhaps it's the barometric pressure? It was gorgeous today.
Perhaps it's just because my whistling is going pretty well and I have time to play.
To: Wneighbor
I think Frodo is safe enough. I don't see many folks squabbling for his attention. :)
He's handsome and strong and has a very cool pad. What's not to like?
...He just isn't Sam! :(

I don't know...Hair had one of "those" dreams about him...
To: 2Jedismom
Those dreams huh? Hair had it? That's good. That leaves Legolas dreams for me. oh oh.... I'm leaving for church now. Hair will probably have a bone to pick with me about this post.
To: Wneighbor
She had that dream a long time ago and we didn't let her live it down for a while! LOL
To: 2Jedismom
Heheheee...no problem!
That's the good thing about dreams. Nobody gets hurt. ;)

Well, I'd better pay some attention to my husband. I've been sitting in front of the computer since he got home.
I'll be back later after everyone is settled in for the night.
To: 2Jedismom
Whoooo!
I think I'll join you in that sugar buzz....just downed an ounce of semi-sweet baking chocolate.
Antioxidants....yeah, that's it. I did it for the antioxidants.
To: RMDupree; RosieCotton
I think I'll grab something to eat...some popcorn, I think!
I'll be in the chat room if anyone is there.
Rosie, I sent you an email!
To: RMDupree
If I were you, I would just slowly back away from Frodo.
He's mine, and I am willing to do time over it!
