Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

tired... been bustin my hump fer the last three days... gotta lot done...
just came in from spendin' the last two hours out on the deck, enjoying the cool evening, lookin' at the stars, enjoyin' scotch and a cigar...

Saratoga would be as quick as a quick as a twin and easier for me to get checked out in, I don't have enough time in type for most FBOs to rent me a twin.
Heh..... That would be an adventure! Would be an expensive way to do it.... Cool, but expensive. They will charge a daily just for having the plane a week even sitting on the tarmac.
Seems almost like a former life now. Snif. No, we can let the pros fly us down there.... I don't think Dad could take it anyhow. He won't drive the Siskiyous in January let alone let his kids fly them.

Did you see my post about the lightening stike that either hit my car or traveled along the ground near my car? It slightly melted my tire to the concrete! Stuck it on there so good it took a little effort to pop it loose and left a perfect black imprint on my driveway of my tread!
