Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I'm in an unbelievably crazy mood. I need to go sit in that deafening cinema and have my liver shook by the bass and just relax! ROTFLOL Well, whenever I get crazy like that I always call my friend Suzann. Her favorite movie is some old version of Auntie Mame that I haven't seen. She paraphrases lines from the movie for me at my crazy moments. So, I'm going to tell you exactly what she tell me - take it how you want to:
"Well Kimmie, you've just got to live live live, life's just a buffet and most poor fools are out there starving to death. You just need to go do whatever you've got to do to get this out of your system."

I had a burrito! A deep fried burrito with chili cheese and onions on it! A coke and a chocolate malt. I'm very likely cranking on sugar.
Nothing like a good sugar high to cause me to need to be peeled from the ceiling.

Julia Childs where she cuts her hand with a knife and blood starts spurting EVERYWHERE I remember that one too! That was so funny because it was about the time I had to bake my first Thanksgiving turkey and I learned to bake turkey by watching Julia. My husband knew that and it really grossed him out. which is cool in retrospect since he's ex-husband now.

He had a great time! I think I'm good for him and he knows it...he's really introverted until he actually gets around people, then he loosens up and has a good time and he's a really nice fellow. People always like him.
Anyway, he's pretty good about just tagging along for the (sometimes wild) rides I take him on! He never gave me any critism when I had a bunch of complete strangers over to the house before the Florida Recount protests...he just welcomed everyone and made coffee!
