Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Uhhhh....yeah, I guess. Must be pretty bad when your pet needs a vacation from you. :) Well, I meant she'd get to visit friends! Not that she needed to get away!
Some days, I definitely need a vacation from my pets, though. Especially Fiona. She's gotten much, much better, but there are still days...

This is practically the first major handyman project that I've attempted.When we re-did our bathroom, I was very nervous...it was our first attempt at anything "nice". We did re-do the enterior of our shop...sheetrock and such, but it was just a shop and in some places, you can tell we didn't know what we were doing!

I coulda used it last night. Poor Jb, he is in so much pain. He was up most of the night; when he wasn't crying or whining he was walking about just trying to find something to do to make him feel better. I tried the warm compress, then he would sleep for a bit; I hope the medicine kicks in soon.
