Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Osage, here is where we want to run the path… from the front porch to the back of the van… the second pic is a side view, with a better view of the slope… the distance is about 40 feet… the third pic is of the stones that were left that we're thinkin' bout usin... might as well…
OT, what was this path with moss between the stones of which you spoke?… tell me more… the missus and I are interested…
any y'all got any input, let me know...

Neighborhood gossip this past winter was we had a cougar hanging around the neighborhood. I wondered if that was what was getting my chickens. I left the lights on out there so I could see from the house. My barn is actually a loafing shed with the open side facing the house. All I ever saw was a coon eating my dog food:)
Thanks for the advise on how to shot. That would require me moving a couple of horses, and the problem is , I don't have alot of places to move them too.

Your path looks like it would just grow grass between the stones, and moss will come in too if you have moss in the grass naturally anyway.
