Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I just heard from ecurbh! We're going to meet up tomorrow night to see TTT. It's still on at the cheap theater not far from here. Clare and I have a Boy Scout family picnic to attend, then we're gonna scoot up there just in time for the movie. I told him I didn't think there'd be a line, other than the 3 or 4 of us! ;o)

I'm at Lisa's house...we're watching the eggs hatch!! All kinds of pipping and tweeting going on! All the neighborhood kids are over and watching. Very exciting! I'll let you know when the first one comes!
