The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

LOL...she got here now. I think it was just they were feeling good and wanted to play. They finally went in their pens to eat. Jenny feels better and the horse is still alive.
See ya all later.

Hmmm, which browser are you using? Is there any mail in your box at all or is it all deleted?
That is strange, I haven't run into that one before.
To: ecurbh
Morning, thanks.
I get this on 3 different computers, which use various versions of MS Explorer.
There is quite a bit of mail in the box, but I suppose no more than 30 or so messages. I have never deleted any of it.

yummy, cappucino .. and biscotti! And of course the mushrooms look scrumptious.

Best in Show ... hysterical. Trust me, I've shown dogs and been around plenty of dogshow people. This guy did his homework. There is someone I KNOW in everyone of his characters .. lololol ..
To: Sam Cree
The only other thing I can think of is go to Tools -> Internet Options and Clear History. Then close the browser and reopen it. Other than that, I'm stumped.
To: ecurbh
Well, maybe I will freepmail John Robinson, do you think he could figure it out? Deleting history does not seem to have had much effect.

Oops...I figured it out. There was one I hadn't opened. I went back and opened every one on the top page, just in case. That did the trick.
I guess sometimes I should look for the obvious instead of trying to out think the thing.

(Hullo - takin' a break from barn cleanin')Good grief!! Were you in that barn all night!?

The thing I thought was funniest about that movie was the fact that one guy had 2 left feet. The characterizations were rather bitingly plausible and funny.
Otherwise, I thought the movie was, to a certain extent, looking down its nose at the characters. 'Course we all look down on some folks we meet, we have to if we are to have standards, but still.

[deep breath] - I am back to work!I'm in taking a break from mowing the lawn. Fortunately the rain has held off and I've been able to get 2/3rds of the back yard done. It was so deep I've had to dump the catcher 5 times already! The front yard won't be so bad cause it just got mowed late last week. We're expecting rain for the next 4 days, so I HAD to get it done. Will finish my glass of ice water in a minute and head back out.
To: Sam Cree
OK, glad you got it taken care of. That possibility had crossed my mind, but I didn't want to come across as insulting to suggest it. I guess that is one holdover from doing tech support - some users get offended if you suggest the simple things to start with.
To: Sam Cree
The characterizations were rather bitingly plausible and funny.I thought the Christopher Guest character was the best, especially when he goes into his "naming nuts" story.

"That possibility had crossed my mind, but I didn't want to come across as insulting to suggest it." Ha! Well I do actually feel somewhat stupid at the moment. Kind of like not checking to see if an appliance is plugged in when it won't work.
Thanks for the help.

Not to worry. I've certainly done my share of this type of thing too. A few weeks ago I went to the photo store to pick up some film, but they couldn't find it. They practically tore the place apart for me. Then I got home and found the undeveloped film still sitting on my desk. D'oh!
