Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

You know, I wonder if they time they spent on this is why there is no RotK trailer yet. You may be on to something! - Yoda appeared in person to accept his award (best fight) I think they had an industry rivalry goin' on!
Good morning for the second time! I am now rested.
Happy Friday everyone, and thanks for the breakfast Ruthy!
To: Sam Cree
Thanks Sam. You know, it always seems like I get these messages and my imagination is much worst than she actually is when I get there. It's just that it's getting pretty expensive for me to make that 520 mile round trip and I haven't found an extra summer job yet. I think I'll feel better when I get there. But, I really think I should hold off and make the trip on Wednesday so I can give my mom some care-giving relief.

Good morning! I am finally going to get my hair cut today. I was planning to grow it to Aragorn length, but it is getting too warm. But maybe I'll just have them trim it. Haven't decided yet.
To: Wneighbor
Sorry about your grama Grama W.... That does not sound like a good development.
To: proud_2_B_texasgal
Yeah, it's amazing how quick you can get everybody you want in your room when you threaten to call the tv stations and your attorney and use the ugly "N" word -- NEGLIGENCE. Hmmmmmm..... filed away in memory banks for next time.
In March an emergency room nurse threated to call security and have me arrested because I began insisting they bring Grama the water and food the doctor has told them to bring her 5 hours earlier. Seems to me if the doctor says she needs it and she ain't even got a drink of water for 5 hours that's negligence. (of course i got her water from a water fountain into an empty Dr. Pepper bottle I had but when the nurse found out about that she did call security because I did something unauthorized on her area.)

Avoid hospitals like the plague.
If you actually have the plague you should prolly go to the hospital.
To: HairOfTheDog
That does not sound like a good development. No, I don't know much of what to make of it.
hate to say this, but it seems like things go a lot better for Grama when I'm there. And, I just can't physically be there all the time I think I should.

I think you should tough it out and continue in the quest for the Aragorn look myself. But, then, I am a child of the early '70's......

I live in Conroe **grin** .. how funny.
To: Wneighbor; HairOfTheDog
Yeah, I kind of like having it longer, as it is nice and curly. The main thing I need is to get the bangs out of my eyes.
To: Wneighbor
Whenever you go, you will not ever regret the time you spend with Grama now.
About your truck, heh... I have a friend who purchased a car from the midwest brand-new with hail damage, for about half the new price... She didn't fix it because she didn't care, but it had the texture of a huge golf ball.
Are there a lot of cars over there that look like that?

If you actually have the plague you should prolly go to the hospital. Suuurre...spread it all around. :)

><> Hmmmmmm..... filed away in memory banks for next time. <><
Seriously, health care workers are taught that anytime someone uses the word negligence, or getting an attorney, they are to contact risk management, who then pulls and reviews the chart and begins "patient recovery" ...
good to know ...
