Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I'm thinking of going and buying a steak and grilling it...just because of Ruthy's post. I'm dying for a good piece of beef!
How would it work on my little George Foreman grill, do you think???
I like a good thick steak medium rare.
To: 2Jedismom
Should work okay on a George Foreman grill....but you won't get that hickory flavor. :)

How are yuh at Steak Tartar?... Well, I'll just rip the horns off its head and wipe its dirty ol backside and serve it on a dish! (The Cowboy Way)
How's that? LOL!
To: Overtaxed
Ok. I'm off to the post office and then to the store for a steak! If I hurry, I can get it cooked, eaten and cleaned up before Steve gets home and he'll not be the wiser! LOL
Some people are closet smokers, some are closet drinkers...I'm a closet steak-eater! LOL

I'm sitting here trying to decide if I should order the Filet or the Prime Rib tonight when Glen takes me out.
Decisions, decisions...

At restaurants when the ask me how I like my steak, I say "just bring the steer to the table and bring me a knife..."

There is my cutie pie!
I would love to see Legolas smiling in the boat with Gimli! - When you have a minute!
To: HairOfTheDog
LOL, that will have to wait for the second half, I only have the first half captured!
I will get to it, as soon as I can though. The capturing takes FOREVER!
To: Penny1
At your convenience, then! :~D [tap tap tap!]

You know, I hit refresh a couple of times when I go to LordoftheRings.net, just so I can hear different actors say "hello" to me. LOL!!
Christopher Lee sounds sooooo cool. I have yet to hear Ian McKellen on it though. Makes me wonder if he supplied his voice for the site.
To: RMDupree
Hmmm.... I don't remember hearing his voice....

To: ksen
I'll make sure to wear skivvies....Be sure they're clean and not torn! Just like 'yo mama' always used to say!

I turn 40 in March. Now that, I'm not so tickled about.I don't even consider 40 middle aged. Now 50 (which is what I'll be in July) now THAT's middle aged!!

"I have yet to hear Ian McKellen on it though. Makes me wonder if he supplied his voice for the site."
You know, now that you mention it, I don't think I heard his voice either during the many times I "refreshed". Hmmm..

Bill Cosby: "My mama always told me to wear clean underwear in case I had an accident....I thought that's what an accident was..."
