Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

WN; Don't forget about "battlefield resupply"; pick up the spent arrows, check for cracks in the shaft and in the nock (discard those that have them), keep the ones longer than you normally use (that way you keep the same anchor and release point) and have fun. :-)

Great pics of you and Myranda. Seeing these pictures of you closer up, you remind me of my ex s-i-l, who I dearly love (much more than my jerk brother). She even has the same name as you!
She usually joins us for our Girl Cousin Reunion, so I hope to see her this weekend.

uhmm... just one of many reasons I don't fly anymore.
(referring to the shoe inspection)That's why I wear clogs when I fly. So much easier to take em off and put em back on again!

Crusty ole guy just came up an offered to brush-hog the canary grass in the pasture for $35. "They won't eat it, when it is that tall" - "I know, I said. And I cut it down last year by hand with a weed-wacker!"
Done deal! I told him to come back next week. Cool.

Well I gots to run so I can do all the stuff I gotta do before I go to MS. Have to leave the house just after 5am; ARRGH! At least the first leg of the trip is 2 1/2 hours, so I can sleep on the plane. Last time, I was asleep from the time we went wheels up until the call came that we were descending into Atlanta. Best flight I ever had, except for the time I got put in First Class because there was no other room on the plane. I was dog tired that time, but stayed awake cause that's probably the ONLY time in my life I'd ever fly First Class!!
I'll try to log on sometimes during the week, but my sister's computer is S-L-O-W, so I may not. IF not, see y'all next Wednesday!

HI W!!! Hi Corin...sorry I havent been in lately...busy weekend with company and family reunion.
I got hosting through www.VerveHosting.com. They have a basic package that cost me 15.00 for the domain and then five dollars a month for access. They have bigger packages, but I thought I'd start out with the basic first. They have excellent options for upgrading.
I am using Moveable Type for my blogging software. THAT I had to have assistance with, but MT offers to install it for you for another 20.00. You can dowload it yourself, but from what I understand its a bit complicated.
There aint much there now, but I found the Vargas picture and decided I liked it.
I wish I had done this to begin with.
My bestest wishes to everyone...may the hair on your toes never fall out!
