Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Its a aftermarket co named Big Dog Motorcycle Company, they make some of the best built aftermakret bikes out there. They build in their bikes 107 S&K cubic-inch motors, Baker 6-speed transmissions, Serious rear tires, Machined aluminum wheels, Unequaled paint quality, 2 year/unlimited mileage warranty.
I'm going to buy a frame from them and start looking around for the rest at swap meets and build one a little at time.

The thread was from an article that quoted some scientists, or maybe a study, as saying that chimps are actually humans.
Some of the religion folks were making comments, along with others who found opportunities for humor. Yes, you were on the thread, Hair, but I can't remember what you said, about a week ago.

Do Pokemon/Digimon fit in that category? He'll still watch those, Yes, but they're the 'kiddie' version. There are different levels of anime as in all films; you have the G all the way to the X, so you have to be careful about the choices. HERE is a website that reviews anime for content; you could check it out if you think he'd be interested.
Clare suggests these series titles, Trigun, Inu Yasha, and Kenshin (highly recommended by our #2 son; the TV series, not the OAVs, original animated videos).

I like that big rear wheel. But, it looks like the front one needs to grow just a little bit to fit in. Gorgeous scooter.
One of the guys I used to ride with in Phoenix had a custom Sportster with a S&S 113cu-in motor. It was something else. Street bike. I think I'd have had to make it a drag bike.

Actually, they said chimps should be reclassified to be in the same "genus" as humans, but not the same species... It was not really all that earth shattering to me, but a few people blew a gasket.
