Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

You sound like my husband, he will be in the house watching TV or something, down the hall is a perfectly comfortable bathroom, and he will go outside. Before I got use to living in the country I use to think this was bizarre. I don't go outside if I'm in now, but if I'm outside at the barn, well, why walk all the way to the house:)

LOL, when my son was 4 we went to see dad at work, downtown Tulsa, I got him on the sidewalk, turned around to get my daughter out of the carseat, turned back and Charlie was standing on the curb at 10th and Main, using the gutter. I hollered and he said "well dad does it at home" took awhile for him to understand the difference:)

The pasture is a safer place now that these menaces have been put in their place!.

LOL, when my son was 4 we went to see dad at work... Heh. When Jr. was five and playing baseball, there were no facilities at the ball field, so we'd send the boys up against the woods. He hadn't quite mastered the opening the fly thing, so we'd see him standing up against the trees, pants down around his ankles...
