Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

ROTFL at your 'woods experiences'. When we were little, and driving down to our Fish Camp, there were NO gas stations on the 'back road'. If we had to go, Daddy just pulled the car over and we stepped into the woods at the roadside. We were always worried someone would come by and 'see us'! LOL! I know what you mean about 'stage fright'!

I have a recipe for a "Hot Spiced Tea" that uses Tang, instant tea, cinnamon and cloves, etc. I make it with the Decaf Instant Tea so that I could have it at night. It is great for a cold!Yep, I have that recipe somewhere, too, except the one I have was labeled "Russian Tea". Why? I dunno! But it is good, especially on a chilly evening with a good book.

Well at least you didn't have hold of a horse that might take off at anytime:)
I have heard some real "woods experience's," from some of the ladies. Horses dragging women down the trail, and them losing their pants because they down around their ankles already. Butt's bummping along the ground, LOL, these stories do not help us more modest types.

Have you ever squatted in the woods trying to go while holding a horse, never knowing when someone is going to go by and your horse might try to followYep.... right in mid-stream your horse starts trying to spin around because another horse is coming.

I just had lunch and am trying to get up to go saddle my horse. He's had 2 days off to recover. I think he has, but I'm not sure if I have:) But an hour or so would do us both good.
