Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

I'm praying as hard as I can. Thanks so much!!! She just called me back. She has been taking her medicine now for almost 36 hours and she wanted me to know that she's up and feeling better. She was heating up some tater tots and chicken nuggets for the kids for supper. She promised she would call the DR tomorrow IF she wasn't better. Then I made her promise that as soon as they are fed she will rest some more. Don't want to over-do it now that she's up.
So, that was all pretty good news. Hopefully it will be well in the morning. I think it's our prayers!!!

Please! Thanks for that prayer. I will be there when the baby comes but we've still got a lot of months between now and then. Jill has had a lot of "morning sickness" in the afternoons. Starting about 3 she gets quesy and has trouble getting up and moving around. It would be nice for her to just have a good friend who might take the girls for an afternoon here and there. So, that's exactly what she needs.
We do have a due date now. It's Nov. 28. So, it looks like I'll be headed over in the Thanksgiving timeframe!!! (what a thanks giving!)

You got that right sister! It's going to be good when we all get to heaven and actually see what all our prayers have done. Think of the Renegade Chaplain and all his guys. I keep them in my prayers as much as I do my s-i-l and we don't even know those guys. I think that's cool.

BTW, I was over on that other thread and reading through all the posts before I replied. I got to the beginning of the 2nd page and Myranda and a friend got home from school. I was getting some stuff ready for their lunch and decided to hurriedly throw in an opinion. I haven't gone back yet. I'm probably being branded very scarlet as we speak here.

Believe me, finding tourist memorabilia is no problem in Florida.
If folks would like to see places in North-Central Florida, such as Silver Springs, Weeki-Watchee Springs, Homosassa Springs (do you notice a pattern here?) I can lead an expedition there!
