Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Well, I read Hair's post about having scene's chopped from TTT placed in the preview and I'm thinking that could have been what they've done. It wasn't really anything I'd seen before on trailors but more of some alternating still shots of characters (I noticed some elves in there - yum) But, I bet that's the preview of the preview anyway.
We go to a weird place to see movies. One of the only drive in picture shows left in Texas.

Drive-ins are great. But alas, I live in Minnesota and they are closed now. I would love to see this movie at a drive-in on that huge screen.

I know what you mean. In the FOTR ER, I always get teary eyed at the elves leaving scene...such a beautiful site...

I didn't even prepare her for knowing he was in there. Actually, after I went to that initial midnight showing she cornered me while I was dressing the following morning demanding to know all about it. I didn't answer ANYTHING. I tried my best to keep a straight face. Except, well, of course after all our first viewings we didn't like stuff. So I told her I didn't like a lot of it but no details. And I reminded her that we didn't like the first viewing as much as all the subsequent viewings of FoTR.
So, she had to wait 5 days to her opportunity to see the movie and knew nothing. he he he he he..... evil mom.
